Find out more about the artists below:

Canned Heat’s track record goes back to the 60s, when they attracted international attention for their performance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 (along with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Who). Their worldwide hit Going Up In The Country became the unofficial theme song for the film Woodstock about the 1969 festival where they had the headlining slot. They’re also noted for rock anthems On The Road Again and Let’s Work Together and have a back catalogue of over 30 albums.

This is the only time you’ll catch Canned Heat in the UK this year and we can’t wait to enjoy their legendary unique blend of roadhouse electric blues, rock and boogie here at Hampton Pool this July.
“…Canned Heat is well on track to carry the boogie-blues it made famous, well into the 21st century with reunion concerts throughout the world again.” The Adelaide Review

“Canned Heat have been a global phenomenon for 40 years due to their classic hits such as On The Road Again.” Bluesfest Touring

“Canned Heat is a country blues legend and this concert is evocative of its well-earned place in the pantheon of 1960s greats while showcasing the skills garnered across a lifetime.” Steve Creedy, The Australian
Songs like She Does It Right, Roxette, Back In The Night and Milk And Alcohol packed the dancefloors of the 1970s and it’s no different today. So feel the raw energy and get up an do your own thing when Dr. Feelgood take to the Hampton Pool stage.

Today’s line-up includes Phill Mitchell on bass guitar, Robert Kane on vocals and harmonica, Kevin Morris on drums, and Steve Walwyn on guitar. Collectively they have over 80 years’ service in the band. Become part of the Feelgood Family for a night and get ready to dance as this premier rhythm and blues four-piece bring their no-nonsense, live energy to Hampton Pool.
“…what you have on offer is a ferociously tight and joyfully authentic Rhythm and Blues outfit that does credit and is worth testimony to the two early classic line-ups.” Richard Mackman and Fi Stimpson

As a charity, Hampton Pool’s future depends on these fundraising events and we really appreciate your support.
For all concerts, the gates open at approximately 19:00, or a little before, so you can have a swim before the music begins.
