Hampton Pool Swimming Teachers
Hampton Pool’s Starfish swim school takes on swimmers of all abilities and ages, transforming non-swimmers up to a club level. We run our swim school all year round, maintaining continuous exercise and practice to allow your children to quickly develop into competent swimmers.

I have been a Swim Teacher at Hampton Pool for 11 years this year. Possibly I have already taught some of your children, some of whom are probably now taller than me! If not as the Swim Coordinator, I look forward to welcoming you to Hampton Pool very soon. I can usually be seen at the pool wearing something pink, funniest comment when seen around Hampton/Teddington – “I didn’t recognise you fully clothed”

I have been a Swim Teacher at the pool since 2013, with experience of teaching a range of age groups and all abilities including children, adults, beginners and club swimmers to learn and improve their swimming skills and techniques.
I come from a swimming background since my early age and my job is my passion! Recently I qualified as Swim England Assistant Swimming Coach and I’m expanding my skills and knowledge to local swimming clubs.
I am motivated and look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping more children reach their full potential in the pool. I love teaching and meeting new people as well as encouraging children into exercise.
Seeing children enjoy the water and gain skills within the water from an early age up to their teens is the most rewarding feeling for me.

‘Technique is a drill’!
Even after 15 years teaching children to swim at Hampton Pool, I am still learning. I spent my early years as a classically trained ballet dancer.
My favourite book is ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’. If I were to live in the sea, I would like to be a dolphin.

As well as being a Swim Teacher, I’m also a Senior Pharmacy Technician in a hospital. Now I’m a mum I don’t have much spare time, but when I do I like to read and I enjoy baking, especially chocolate brownies.

I’m currently studying sports rehabilitation at St Mary’s university. I love to keep fit and healthy by training at the gym, playing football and swimming. l enjoy teaching swimming as it’s hugely rewarding to see pupils improve their technique and stamina.
