Support Emily to raise money
to buy a disabled chair hoist
for Hampton Pool
Between 21-25 February 2010 Emily Morris, our duty manager, will attempt to swim the Cook Strait in New Zealand to raise money for a disabled chair hoist for the pool so it is fully accessible to the whole community all year round.
This stretch of water is known to be one of the most dangerous in the world. If she is successful this will make her the first British female to do this. It is a tough swim and has a high failure rate due to unpredictable weather, strong tides, cold water and marine life such as sharks and jelly fish.
Please support Emily to achieve this personal challenge by showing support and sponsoring her.
You can download a sponsorship form or make a donation.
Thank you for your support.
