pool rescue courses

These one day courses give you the knowledge on resuscitation, rescue skills, poolside communication, emergency action plans and first aid. This will allow you to teach in an environment where there may not be a lifeguard always on pool.

To participate in these courses, you will need to be over 16 years and able to swim 25 metres and pick up objects from the floor at the deepest end of the pool.

This course will need to be renewed every two years for you to be able to remain insured and continue teaching.

£70 (plus examination fees paid to STA)
