Welcome to the Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts 2009. This is our seventh season and the most exciting year to date. For the first time we are entering the world of classical music and delighted to welcome the delightful classical superstar Hayley Westenra to grace our stage.
The atmosphere at a Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concert

If you've never been to one of our picnic concerts you'll be in for a pleasant surprise. Unlike other local concert venues, ours is small and intimate and has a great atmosphere with the concerts being staged on the landscaped area next to our pool. Wherever you choose to sit you will have a great view of the stage and remember, if you so wish you can take a dip before the show, the cost of which is included in the ticket price.

This year another first is the ability for you to conveniently and securely book online. Details can be found on each artiste's page or in the 'quick book' column on the right.

Hampton Pool is a not for profit company and also a registered charity and these summer concerts are part of our fund-raising activities. Last year we raised £21K which is being used in the continuing programme of improvement of the facilities for all to enjoy.

Our headliners this year are the incredible 21 year old Kiwi soprano Hayley Westenra, our first classical performer, and Paul Carrack, who on top of a successful solo career has sung with Mike and the Mechanics, Squeeze and Ace.

Our other acts include the exciting Puppini Sisters and guests The Humphrey Lyttelton Band; the extraordinary Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain; the explosive Upbeat Beatles and The Rollin Stoned; and the effervescent Signed Sealed and Delivered Live Motown Review.

We hope the information provided about each show will help your selection and that you will want to come to one or more. Bring a picnic, a rug or chairs to sit on, and as many of your friends as possible!

It is prohibited to bring any items of glass into the pool area.

We ask you also to respect that this is a fund raising event and do not bring your own alcohol. There will be a licensed bar, serving good quality wine and beers at very reasonable prices.

Gates open at 7.30pm for all concerts with pre-concert swim between 7.30-8.00pm.
