If you've never been to one of our picnic concerts you'll be in for a pleasant surprise. Unlike other local concert venues, ours is small and intimate and has a great atmosphere with the concerts being staged on the landscaped area next to our pool. Wherever you choose to sit you will have a great view of the stage and remember, if you so wish you can take a dip before the show, the cost of which is included in the ticket price.
Hampton Pool is a not for profit company and also a registered charity and these summer concerts are part of our fund-raising activities. Last year we raised £21K which is being used in the continuing programme of improvement of the facilities for all to enjoy.
Our headliners this year were the incredible 21 year old Kiwi soprano Hayley Westenra, our first classical performer, and Paul Carrack, who on top of a successful solo career has sung with Mike and the Mechanics, Squeeze and Ace. |
