A performance by the musician's musician. Paul Carrack, the legendary Yorkshireman is something to really look forward to.
His distinct soulful voice was the sound of Mike and the Mechanics and Ace. Paul's lengthy career started in the 70s as front man of Ace with the monumental 'How Long' a hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
When Ace disbanded he had brief spell as keyboard player with Roxy Music then joined Squeeze replacing Jools Holland as keyboard player. He was the voice on their classic hit 'Tempted'. Paul moved on joining forces with Mike Rutherford of Genesis to form Mike and the Mechanics and had hits with songs such as "All I Need is A Miracle" and the catchy "Over My Shoulder".
After a brief return to Squeeze he then began writing his own material and touring extensively as a solo artiste producing 12 albums. We will hear material from his new album 'I Know that Name' and the hit 'No Doubt About It'. Paul will be supported by his eight-strong band.
