for children – relief for parents!

Apart from the two lanes for lap swimming, the pool is kept free for using the two small slides and general recreational swimming.

The smaller teaching pool (12.5m x 7.3m) is usually available for children to enjoy as it is 0.9m deep over the whole of its length. It is ideal for young children to lose any fear of water and many a baby under 12 months has made its first swimming strokes here.

We also hold the following organised activities throughout the year:

Parent & toddler (under 5’s)

This 90 minute session gives parents and under 5’s exclusive use of the teaching pool. 10.30 am-12 noon Monday Wednesday and Friday. Please note this does not include admission to afternoon swimming sessions.

TNT

This holiday club will be running at Easter for the first time. Two hours of fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays, these sessions of activities, for your child under the supervision of our lifeguards, will run between 12 noon and 2.00 p.m. You can chill out at the cafe, or disappear for a couple of hours.

Suitable for children between 4-12. Places are filled quickly.
Book early at reception to aviod disappointment.

Hampton Pool Swimming Club

These courses are for children age 4+ covering all levels of swimming abilities, from non-swimmers to more advanced skills. The next term commences on Monday 7th January 2008.

Teaching essential life saving skills for children of 7 years and over. If you are interested please let reception know. We will run a course in January.
