Our rookie classes run in the summer term, once a week for 6 weeks and also as crash courses in the Half Term and Summer holidays. Rookie Lifeguard is an introduction into basic lifesaving and rescue skills in and around pools and other water areas. Divided into stages bronze, silver and gold each course is a mixture of abilities and the children will be worked at their level. Children must be over 8 years and able to swim 50+ metres.

Our snorkelling classes are for children who can swim 50+ metres and who are aged over 8 years. They are perfect for those going on holiday who would want to have a go at snorkelling. Taken by qualified PADI instructors they will learn the basics and also the safety aspects of snorkelling to ensure they have fun on holiday!

Water polo is a great team sport and our sessions will teach the rules and fundaments of the game and the children will get a chance to practice passing and shooting as well as joining with a game at the end of the session!

In the summer we offer one hour diving classes for children over 8 years who can swim 50+ metres. These lessons are suitable for all levels of divers, and take it back to basics starting at sitting dives and moving towards different racing starts.
