Welcome to the heated water of our open
air pools. Hampton Pool, known as “South West London's
best kept secret” is situated
in two acres of woodland next
to Royal Bushy Park. Our main pool is
36 metres long and we also have
a learner pool
dedicated to children and their parents.
In a recent article, The Sunday Times described us as "one of Britain's coolest, biggest, hippest pools".
The water in our pools is heated throughout the year. We provide for
the
community 365 days of outdoor swimming, yes,
you can even have a swim on Christmas Day! more...
Our pools are monitored by a team of professional
lifeguards, providing a safe environment for
swimmers of all ages and abilities.
The main pool is split in half at all times to allow for lane swimming on one side and family swimming and fun on the other.
Spend a day with us swimming and lazing in the sunshine,
remember it’s cheaper and warmer than a
family
trip to the seaside. Customers even tell us that a day at Hampton Pool is like being
on holiday!
We also offer limited free parking.
OPENING TIMES NOTICES
School Swimming Lessons Start Tuesday 21st May
The pool will be closed for school lessons on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from the 21st of May to the 18th of July, 9am-12.30pm. Excluding 28th and 30th May.
Yoga Sunday 26th May
Please note that Yoga will not take place on Sunday 26th May. We look forward to seeing you back on Sunday 2nd June.
Ruth Thomson's Master Class
Please note that Ruth will not be running her Master Classes on Wednesdays 22nd and 29th May. We look forward to seeing you back on Wednesday 5th June.
Lane Hire Mondays and Wednesdays from 6th May - 29th May.
Please note that one lane has been hired for training from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. from Monday 6th May to 24th May. Thank you.
Bank Holidays Mondays 6th and 27th May
We will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Please remember that the car park will not open before 11.00 a.m. but you can park on the main road or surrounding roads. Thank you.
Thursday 30th May
Please be aware that on Thursday 30th May, work will be taking place on the main pool covers from 11.00am.
There will be restricted use of the main pool while this takes place.

Building development plans - your feedback is welcomed

Your comments will help to fine tune the content and direction of the plan to best meet the needs of current and future users of this unique local facility.

Waterpolo is very popular at Hampton Pool but we would still like to see new faces – both children and adults – all are welcome.

If you are doing a Teachers Training course and do not have a rescue qualification then this is the course for you. Anyone from the age of 14 can join the course perhaps you are doing P.E. for your G.C.S.Es.

Trainee Teachers 15/16 and 22/23 June 2013
Thank you to all those who joined us for the Trainee Teacher lessons this month. It was a great help and all the teachers passed their exams!
There will be another trainee teachers course at the pool 15/16 and 22/23 June and we would love you to come back. They will be using part of the trainer pool and part of the main pool between 3.00 and 5.00 p.m.
Any children between the abilities of non-swimmers to 25m (stages 1-6) are welcome to join us for a free one hour's lesson. We really need your help.

STA Beginner Teachers course in June now booking
Don't miss out on the BEGINNER TEACHERS Course which is now booking for the 15/16 and 22/23 June..

We will run a Full Teachers Course the week of 24th/25th, 29th, 30th, 31st August and 1st September. There is also a saving if you book the Full Teachers course at the same time as the Beginners.
STA Pool Emergency Procedures course
We are now booking for the STA Pool Emergency Procedures (this used to be called NARS Pool Rescue) course on 28 April and 2nd June.
PLEASE NOTE that now anyone from 14 years and up can register for the Pool Emergency Procedures course!
The cost is £80.00 plus exam fee of £22.00.
This course may be suitable for those thinking of doing P.E. for G.C.S.Es. If interested please call us on 020 8255 1116.
SPECIAL NOTICES
Storm closure procedures
In the event of thunder storms we will have to ask you to leave the water immediately. An 'all clear' to re-enter the water will be given once there has been a 20 minute lapse between thunder rolls.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for lost swimming time.
